More Cherry Blossom Festival

Doug and I went back down to the Cherry Blossom Festival on Sunday. We took Sam on the merry go round....I don't really think that he knew what to make of it. After that we got some lunch and spread out our blanket under one of the many cherry trees there at the park to hang out. Sam played in the grass and afterwards he was worn out as you can see from the last picture!

Cherry Blossom Festival

Today was the beginning of the Cherry Blossom festival so Doug, Sam, and I headed down to Central City Park. I wasn't able to get many pictures but we are planning on heading down there tomorrow as well. We went this afternoon to catch the end of the frisbee dog competition.

8 Months

I know that I already posted a picture of Sam swinging but I just couldn't resist posting this one. He will be eight months old tomorrow and wow, the time has really flown by. This picture was taken at one of the parks here in Macon this past Sunday. It was a beautiful 80 degree day....it was hard to believe that just one week before we had an inch of snow!

SNOW!!!

We had a special treat this past weekend...snow! It came down in big wet flakes but it finally started sticking. All in all we probably got about 1-2 inches. It was gone the next day of course but it still closed schools, banks, etc... Sally had a great time but unfortunately it was about Sam's bedtime and I didn't think that he would tolerate me dressing him in order to go outside. He'll probably have to wait a while for the next snow considering the last time we got snow here was in 2001....only 1/2 inch.
