Sam's new favorite thing

While out on Anna Maria we took the kids to the playground. I put Sam in the bucket swing for the first time and he loved it. He and his cousin Caitlin would have stayed on there all afternoon if we let them I think.

Florida

Sam and I took a trip down to Florida to visit with family while Doug went out to work for the week. My dad and Teresa also came down to visit during the week. We went out to Anna Maria Island for lunch.....we also took a pit stop at the play ground and the beach. Here is a picture of Granddaddy and Grandma Adams with all of the grandkids.

7 months...really.

Sam is now 7 months old....I thought this hat looked really cute on him.

The Tybee Island 5 Miler

Here are Sam and I crossing the finish line during the Tybee 5 mile race....it looks like he was just sleeping away and enjoying the ride!

Fort Pulaski

While in Tybee we went over to tour and hike around Fort Pulaski. It was built in 1829 and was very impressive. We walked down a trail that took us out the Cockspur Lighthouse....you can see it in the background of this picture. Sam was slumped over sleeping but he opened his eyes just for the picture.

Our House on Tybee

We rented a little cottage on Tybee that was built back in the 1930s...it was really cute and it was nice that it was dog friendly so Sally could come along. Doug, Sam and I ran in a 5 mile race on Tybee on Saturday morning. It was great and I'll post a picture or two later in the week when pictures are available from the race. There were over 1000 people in the race!

On the way to Tybee Island

Doug surprised me with a trip to Tybee Island this weekend. For those of you that don't know, Tybee is a barrier island off the coast of GA....just about 20 minutes east of Savannah. I took this picture of Sam on the way over there. He just woke up from a nap and his hair is long enough now to have a case of bedhead!

Can you find Tippy?

It was a lazy cold Saturday and I thought this picture was cute. Tippy is by far the laziest dog, EVER. She will lay in that position ALL DAY....Doug will put his legs on her and she doesn't even care!

I'm an idiot

OK....I have made a terrible mistake....you know how you say "Sam is 16 weeks" or whatever? Then, you transition to saying "Sam is 6 months" or whatever? Well, apparently that transition didn't go so smoothly. My sister called me today to tell me that Sam will be 7 months on the 11th of this month....not 8 months. Sorry, I'm an idiot. So, I'll post a REAL 7 month picture soon.
